Gee, you wouldn't think that the reason that DVD's in European countries cost more would be because of local arrangements requiring local manufacturing and distribution at local (higher) labor rates, do you? It gets a little tiring hearing about higher costs for products in Europe when the government and companies actually provide real health care, pension plans and vacation time. It's always easy to complain about the low cost of American products when buying them on your 4 week mandated vacation in the US from a store clerk working for minimum (American) wage, with no health insurance who can't afford the loss of income from taking a vacation....
