I know most, if not all, of this has been discussed in earlier conversations, but I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. I don't do games, just ordinary things like PS, word-processing, and other ordinary things. I'm still running 9.1 on it, but am pretty sure I'll upgrade it to OSX as I'm running on my iBook. With future developments on the horizon, I have a few questions... My TiBook is G4, 400 and has to go in for an ajustment/alignment and the company doing the repair offers me an IBM drive replacement 30GB for a mere $159, plus $59 for the data transfer. Also, I only have 384 MB (256+128 MB) memory and they have 512 for $149 or 256 for $99. What would you do if you would one day hope to use it for Jaguar or such? I do think the IBM is tempting, but then again, that's what CD's are all about, right? What would you do? Also, can I just move my 'delicate' files to a CD and then replace them upon return? Thanks for your thoughts. If you'd like, to avoid bandwidth issues, you can write me offlist, or on, as you choose. Pat
