[P1] Memory (again), was Re: [P1] bad battery?

I put more memory in to my 700 MHz iBook right after I got it and 
immediately got kernal panics in X, though it would boot in 9 just 
fine. X is (was) more sensitive to marginal quality memory than 9, even 
on the same hardware.
