jonathan

your points well taken. as i have been preaching for years, the problem is
the lack of supervisation and accountablity with some of our kids.
i as a tech find it increasingly frustrating to fix and refix things that
could be prevented had the labs and computers been looked after by staff and
students. i have stated my opinion only to have it ignored.
the problem is there and the solution is too.

maine does have the right idea, but in some of our schools the technology
can not be purchased so we must do with what we have. and if it keeps
getting trashed for no reason then the money for new will continue to go
into repairing the broken.

the people making the descisions dont always have a look see at the day to
day useage of the tecnology. but we do the best with what we have. which is
far more then i had when i was long ago a highschooler.
