[P1] new iBook problem...

The iBook has a copper thermocouple that helps to shift the heat from 
the cpu in the centre of the logic board to the heat sink and vent at 
the rear just underneath the hinge. The little fan cools this heat sink 
and vents the air out of the back. As far as I can tell, it's almost 
always on, but very quiet.

I often work this thing pretty hard and there is no difference in sound 
when it's cold and when it is very warm to the touch on the underside, 
and on the left wrist support where the HD lives.
