GPS data and Virtual PC and a Pocket PC

I am running Windows XP Professional in VPC. I am interested in a 
Pocket PC unit with a GPS unit and wonder if I can connect via USB with 
this setup and download the locations to DeLorme Street Atlas for 
plotting.

Will a Pocket PC sync using USB and Windows XP?

Will the GPS software download the locations and Waypoints.
