It *might* work.  If you can borrow a hub, just give it
a try.  You might try assigning a non-local IP address to
it, because otherwise I think the Airport won't route it.
However, try it both ways if possible.

Networking is a lot like economics--it's easier to explain
why something happened than to predict what *will* happen.
