[iBook] What would YOU do?

Tossup, assuming the PowerBook is 12". If it's a 15" system, I'd go with
that for the bigger screen. The kicker here is that you'll have to 
replace
the PowerBook battery in about a year or so, probably. If the PowerBook
has AppleCare, that's a plus.

The question is, do you need (or expect to need) the SuperDrive,
larger hard drive, Bluetooth, or other things the PowerBook has beyond
the iBook? If you plan to do much video editing, for example, you'll 
want
a larger screen sooner than later, lots of RAM, more hard drive space,
basically all the things the PowerBook offers. If not, I'd lean toward 
the
iBook.

If you decide on the iBook, I'd recommend boosting the RAM right away.
You'll thank me later. :-)
