Photo, shmoto! Here (again!) is the answer I posted to this list only a 
couple of days ago . . . sigh

It's very simple, but here's a quick recap for those who missed it in the 
above paragraph (and earlier.)

stud on PS => original cord type
----------------------
metal => 3 prong
plastic => 2 prong
