[iBook] What will happen? (I painted my iBook and it needs to go back)

Hey TIA, 

Same thing happened to me. I didn't take the risk and bought a new
cover. Apple fixed the machine none-the-wiser. A new shell costs $100
or so. If you can strip the paint off do that. Soak it in isopropanol
or rubbing alcohol. Don't use any stripper meant for oil based paint,
it will eat the plastic.
