[P1] Does anyone have an iBook that smells?

its cabling for sure.

the cable for the screen goes thru the hinge. and thru opening and closing
it frays and shorts out.

if its under warranty still i would get it in again and have them tear it
apart and look at the hinge assembly and the wiring .
