safari password

My husband's iBook from school (running OX 10.2.4) generates the 
following message when he tries to use Safari:
"Safari wants access to keychain "teacher." Please enter your keychain 
password or phrase."
He has a login password, but that doesn't work in this dialog box.  The 
message only appears while using Safari.  I use Safari all the time on 
my laptop but have never seen this message.  Any suggestions?  I'm 
tempted to throw away the library-->keychain-->teacher file, but not 
sure if that would mess something else up.  I do not have access to the 
admin password, but his account is set to allow the user to adminster 
the computer, so I can do some modifications.
