[iBook] USB 2.0 on 1Ghz iBook

When I look at the system profiler, under USB Device Tree, it indicates I
have a USB Bus (duh!), the speed of which is
"Up to 12 Mb/sec" 

But there is also a listing for "USB High-Speed Bus," the speed of which is
"Up to 480Mb/sec."

I want to use the high speed bus, if it's available, to dump pictures from
my digital camera. It wasn't a big deal with the 2Mpixel camera, but with a
6Mpixel camera, it's downright painful to transfer them via USB 1.0.

What's the deal with that USB High-Speed Bus listing? Is Apple just teasing
me?
