As a new Mac person, you'll discover that a lot of things don't claim Mac
compatability, while actually all you have to do is plug them in and you're
good to go. Macs are very adaptable to third party products, and often play
nicely with them. Not always, but enough.

Have you tried just plugging your Logitech mouse in to see if it works?
