For me, the iBook is a secondary computer for travelling, mostly, and it costs much less. Since I have another machine for most of my at-home use, I don't need the extra features that the powerbook offers. That was my reasoning. If it were going to be my main machine, I would look harder at the powerbook, until my wife saw the extra cost, that is. ;) Allan
