Hello Angus, I got my 1gb shuffle about two weeks ago and I love it. I had a 10gb iPod already but ive been using my new shuffle alot more just because its so light and small, its great for the gym or any time I want to take some tunes with me when I go to the store or whatever , I still grab my 10gb model when I want to listen to my tunes in my truck. I have a stereo in my truck that has a audio jack and I plug in my 10gb and have my whole music library in the palm of my hand , but when im on the go and away from me truck I reach for my shuffle. I dont miss the screen at all , I like to listen to it in shuffle mode , its like having a radio station that plays all your favorite songs without any commercials . And my little shuffle sounds every bit as good and loud as my 10gb model. In short go get one you wont regret it.
