In Photoshop elements open a new document with a resolution of 72 and sized to the approximate size you want the letter O¹ to appear + a little more. Use the text tool to put the letter on the canvas. Go to the layer palette (open if from the Window menu if it isn¹t on screen) and flatten the image. (To flatten, click on the round button near the top right corner of the palette. That will pop open a menu and flatten is near the bottom.) That¹s the O¹ The red dot can be done several different ways. One would be to simply select the brush tool, size it as you want, and place it in the O¹. Another would be to keep the text tool and place a period in the center. (If you do this you¹ll have to use the flatten command.) You could also use the ellipse marquee tool, make a round selection in the O¹ and then use fill to make it red. Once you have your masterpiece made look at the layer palette to make sure there is only one layer. Now, you want to save as a JPEG. Tah dah! And has anyone been able to try out the new PowerBook trackpad? My local Apple store doesn¹t have any yet and where I work order tracking shows the last week of February for our first delivery. I hate how Apple plays unfair with product distro. david
