[iBook] [OT] Using Java

Hi List,

This is completely off-topic. I tried hours (really :-) to find
answers but I'm clueless. I have .jar files I want to run but can't
find out how. I tried the Jar Launcher (nothing happens), I tried
Applet Launcher and Java Web Start with no luck.

Do I have to install the dev tools to run java .jar files?? 
I also have java .class too...
