You need to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the OS. Not only do you 
NOT know what kind of garbage was installed by the previous owner 
(would you be happy if there was a Trojan Horse running that sent 
everything you typed to a hacker someplace?), you have no idea if the 
machine is even working correctly and you don't have passwords so you 
can't really even use OS X.
