If you paid for the software, you should have the media and serial numbers (if any) as well. That said, an OS X disk will install on any mac that supports that version (meaning, a G5 won't run 10.1.x), however the 'restore' disks and 'hardware test' disks are usually machine specific. I bet the restore disk would work, but the HW test for my ibook won't work on my cube, or vice versa.
