[iBook] iBook 500 slow

Hi:

Which disk is the restore disk?  I have three install disks with my iBook 700.  There are three dots on one, two dots on the other and one dot on another.

If you paid for the software, you should have the media and serial numbers
(if any) as well.

That said, an OS X disk will install on any mac that supports that version
(meaning, a G5 won't run 10.1.x), however the 'restore' disks and
'hardware test' disks are usually machine specific. I bet the restore disk
would work, but the HW test for my ibook won't work on my cube, or vice
versa.
