[iBook] Battery Charger Indicator

The problem is most likely just with indicator light on the plug. Mine 
stopped changing colors too several months after I got the iBook 
new---it stays green all the time even when charging. My battery however 
has been charging and funtioning fine for over two years. I've seen 
discussions before about the indicator light not working but this does 
not mean the battery is not charging properly.
