Allen, you are * so * wrong. You are contributing, big time:

When I read the thread I couldn¹t remember what my Entourage X problem was
caused by (same thing - downloading from one ISP, checked attachments etc).
The solution was that the Entourage database on my computer was too big
and/or corrupt. Whittling it down and rebuilding it helped if I remember.
But the culprit was on my computer, not the ISP. Entourage 2004 btw is not
susceptible to that it seems. That app - by itself - was publicly available
at one point btw.

I'm probably not contributing to any solutions ... but I had problems
with Entourage crashing from time to time myself -- but then, I have
tons of email in Entourage's database. some email with really large
attachments. At times, I would get the spinning beach ball when
trying to preview the next message ... the hard drive goes nuts for 1
- 2 mins as if Entourage is hung (but it isn't). Maybe I should
rebuild the database as Brian suggested.
