[iBook] Dual Monitor Issues

I am trying to use dual monitors in Tiger and the
manuals/website-screenshots all reference a button that says "Detect
Display" (in Display properties) as well as a button labeled "Arrange." I
don't see either when I plug in my second monitor. Is there something I need
to enable somewhere in Tiger or on my iBook G4? I get the same exact thing
on my PowerMac G4 400 also using two ATI Rage Pro 128MB video cards - no
"Detect Display" button
