Thanks for answering me !
I've done a Panther install on my desktop computer, but I get so wound
up about such simpleness that I tend to forget how to do some things
that would normally be quite easy to do-LOL!, like Partition a drive.
Does the installation show you how to do this-I don't remember, when
you say a ''small partition'' what do you mean, does it have to do with
the amount of Gigabytes installed for O.S.9. Before I did a Panther
install on my desktop I was working in O.S.9.2.2, I actually liked
working in it except I was constantly getting error messages and that
was no fun, and then my Grandchildren were teasing me because I hadn't
moved on- so I finally did it, I still am trying to figure it out,
sometimes I do silly things and get a "warning" window- asking me if I
want to report a bug ?, I noticed too about Panther is you should use
the menu more, it's all a learning process anyway, but the clamshell, I
wonder if it's just about the same, I guess it is. I'll try to change
that short name & the computer name when I do the re-install but if it
doesn't work can I come and talk to you again?. ttyl .................
