1. So you ran the script? 2. did you reboot the computer? 3. It will only affect a monitor that you connect to your iBook - it won't affect the iBook's built-in display. 4. Maybe your external monitor only supports 1024x576. Is it spanning (can you have different windows displayed on the external as compared with the internal?
