I did that. first it asks for my firmware password..and i put that in and then it just shows my harddrive..no dvd...hmmmmmm Janice F. With the DVD in the drive, restart the MacBook while holding down the "Option" key, IIRC. You should get a choice of starting from the DVD or the MacBook HD.
