That is a good point. I would hate to see my G3-600mhz orphaned by Leopard.
I am also worried that my G4-400mhz will also be dropped. Both machines have
been workhorses. They have paid for themselves over and over. However I
don't really have the bucks to move up to the newer machines at this time.

Sure I could buy a lower end Mac but I really require a tower and a laptop.
So from my perspective I am looking at roughly five or six thousand dollars
of expenditures.

I use it primarily for writing and photography and some limited video
renditions.  

I guess I will have to start saving up.
