[iBook] DVD challenged Clamshell

I would actually like to put 10.4 on my Clamshell...

But it's DVD challenged. I was thinking about doing a minimum install to a usb disk from my Sawtooth, then somehow cloning it to the iBook. Do any of the Linux live cds have a disk cloning utility built in?
