[iBook] OS for g3 and g4 ibooks?

As a side note to this. While I know both iBooks are getting a bit long in the tooth, especially with the offerings from apple to keep them viable. If you are willing to be a bit on the side of adventure. MintPPC has really made leaps in bounds in all things linux on ppc hardware. 
 While I have owned each iBooks you speak of, I have not installed it on either one. Though I have run mint for about the last 6 years on the only pc in the house. 
 I might get the gumption to install it here in my G4/1.5 powerbook, when 10.4 stops doing everything and anything that I ask from it.
