With iTunes open, select Library, choose "Select All" from Edit menu, 
then select "Get Info" from File menu. If it worked for individual 
songs, then it should work for All songs, although it may take quite a 
few minutes for a 14,000 song library. Then I would download and run 
Preferential Treatment (find it on Versiontracker.com) to check for 
corrupt preferences.
