Hi Becca, Look in iTunes preferences under "Store" there is a box "Automatically download prepurchased content" that box should not be checked. I was thinking of you today, I found a program for both Mac and Windows that will automatically turn your computer on and off at any time. You can configure your system to load iTunes when the computer turns on, I think you put iTunes or a "short cut" in the Startup Folder. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup Here is the URL http://www.faronics.com/html/PowerSave.asp I bought the Mac version because I use a Mac mini to record TV shows for later viewing and sometime they come on at 4 a.m. The mini turns itself on at 4am and off at 5am. It saves electricity over leaving my machine on all night.
