Chris,
   You might want to look at the Devideon Superdrive from Formac.  It's 
a Firewire superdrive (Pioneer A05) and it comes with DVD authoring 
software.  I don't know of anyone that's using it, has used it, etc. 
but it looks interesting.  They're pricing it at what the other FireWire 
drives are going for ($399.95).  If you can believe the marketing hype, 
their software sounds easy to use.
