[DigiCam] Sony TRV-340 Question

Ah... excuse me Mike, but why are you concerned with taking tiny MPEG-1 
(I think) snippets on your memory stick, when you can just suck the 
digital video off your Hi-8 TAPE (via Firewire) into iDVD and go from 
there?
