Hi Mad Dog,

I took the battery out and the Duo came on... thanks!

The little floppy with the question mark appeared -- so, I booted
with the Disk Tools. At first, the HD did not appear -- but at the
2nd boot, the HD did appear and after running a check, the Disk
First Aid verified everything as being okay.

Now, the machine starts okay.

Would you know what happened?

I may be travelling again and putting the Duo in storage -- would it
be best to store the Duo with or without the battery? The battery
has been dead for awhile -- an interesting thing is when I try to
recondition it, the machine just shuts down.

I'd appreciate any great ideas and info!

Best

Lela
