In terms of Duo, Newton connectivity, you need a serial cable. One end
to the duo and the other and connected to a serial adapter (dongle) to
the Newton. You will also need Newton Connection Utilities (NCU) to
sync back and forth.

I have tried it and it worked flawlessly. This was when I just got my
duo230, but then I played with the extensions and NCU is unable to
identify the Newton as connected. I haven't tried to correct the
problem, as I am waiting for other components to complete my duo
system, so until then I will not try, but it does work.
