Hi Tony  Just to mention, it's worth taking a look to see if the shield 
on the back of the optical drive carrier is properly slided on and not 
popped off like mine was which sounded like a fairground attraction 
till I checked it found it hanging flappily and put it on properly.

I mentioned it to the shop who said it was perfectly normal for one of 
those to have come off due to transit, ie driving home from shop.

I didn't believe them and since then it has not come off when being 
transported under the same conditions as the day I purchased it.

All shops are prone to these little niggly half truthes it seems.
