[G4] Fwd: Announcing: MAC OS X Support for Umax Scanners

i have been using both SilverFast (the ""Umax" solution) and VueScan  
for about 18 months with my Umax scanner and various forms of os X.  
Both are developed by 3rd parties, and support a multitude of scanners  
(flatbed and film/slide) with my use i have actually preferred VueScan  
over SilverFast, but both work fairly well. YMMV.
