I think you are out of luck here.  If you want to cut and paste text 
into a document, you must first be able to open the document.  If you 
are booted into OSX to use a new browser, you may not be able to open 
the OS 9 document.  It might work, and it might not.  My guess is it 
won't work without some new software built for OSX.

If you boot into OS 9 and open your document, you will not be able to 
use the OSX browsers.
