[G4] DVR problem

That's silly. A DVD is merely a controlled device - on or off kind of  
thing. I have the same G4/GE2x450 and I installed a Pioneer DVR-111  
with OS9.2.2 with no problems at all. Couldn't burn DVD's with OS9  
but could read 'em. CD's burned much faster even with the older  
Toast5. I can't quite believe our drives are _that_ different except  
maybe the faceplate.
