[G4] Power issues

Hello and happy new year,

My G4  will not shut down . When I choose shutdown it automatically  
restarts. Also once I manage to shut it down (Power button on from of  
machine) it is becoming very difficult to start. Am I looking a  
getting a new power supply? I greatly appreciate all replies to this  
request.
