[G5] contemplating upgrade to G5 dual 1.8ghz, comments?

I doubt waiting for a product line update will help you get a lower 
price.  If a new G5 desktop was released this month.  You would 
probably only get a small discount if any at all in the timeframe you 
need it.  Next day delivery is the only way you will possibly get it by 
your deadline of the 13th.  I would say wait if you had more time.  
Otherwise get what you need now.
