New Pioneer DVD burner + TIVO unit

As a gadget freak, I tip my hat to you for the cool info ... but I  
think us Mac owners have already got this beat!

The retail price on this unit looks to be about $1899-2000. I could buy  
an eMac w/Superdrive for $1299 (or less), and a Formac Studio DVTV  
($399) and get the same thing for at least $200 less ... without the  
spyware or the monthly fee. And I get an COMPUTER out of the deal as  
well! :)

And if I already *have* a computer with a Superdrive (or the ability to  
add one) ... well the money saved by buying the Formac starts to look  
really good!
