My guess is they did something to reduce the size of the audio files, 
maybe making them AC3 ala MPack in DVDSP2.  Not only do you get reduced 
file sizes, but they are 5.1 Dolby surround capable...  If not, they 
anybody's guess is as good as mine, I suppose.  What with Garageband 
and all it's midi goodies and 64 tracks, well, lets just  say they have 
the technology...
