Hello y'all! iMovie and iDVD were the main reasons for buying a new PowerBook 15/1.67, since for eveything else my old T400 was chugging away just fine .... and now this!! I finally had overcome the audio-synch problems by extracting the audio before sending the finished iMovie project to iDVD. But yesterday, the matter became even more vexing. The project was finished ... 72 min ... and I extracted the audio and saved the work. Coming back to it later, I noticed that playback had turned into a 1fps affair and the sound consisted of nothing but static ... a clicking crackling sound. I used all possible playback settings, no avail. Then I did a reverse and imported the iMovie file into iDVD. Same thing! With a new setting in iMovie, which shows the frequency band of the sound track, I saw what seemed like regular sound files. Ergo, I copied a portion of it and placed it into a new iMovie project .... voila ... the sound was correct!!! Whcih should mean that the data themselves are okay, which is super, since I would hate to have to go back and redo the entire project, which consisted of 4 hours of raw footage. But what on earth can I do now, to revive the project? Would iMovie 4 open it (I don´t have that one anymore)? Any suggestion would be most welcome. ciao from Berlin, eckhard ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Schmalfilme auf DVD: www.kreativeDVD.de Eckhard Behme, Grellstr.8, 10409 Berlin, 030-4280-1940 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
