dp4 quickscribe problem

i am trying to display an arrangement for a large ensemble in 
quickscribe editor, however it refuses to display more than 12 staff 
lines. in fact, the 12th is truncated at the bottom. there is no scroll 
bar so that i can view the staves below the 12th one. and when i try 
smaller magnifications, a block of white appears, overlapping the 
bottom of the score page, which is indented from both sides. sure looks 
like a bug.
