  Not sure, but, much was with how OS X handled audio, and MIDI which 
are rather crucial to someone working with audio stuff.  Most of the 
smaller 2 track stuff is ported (Deck, Spark, etc.), and MOTU is 
working on Digital Performer--I think they have drivers for their 
MIDI devices now, OS X version of Logic is out, and presumably Cubase 
is working on it's own stuff.  Other cool stuff is now on OS X, like 
Reason, but, I've been lead to believe that the audio programming 
tools have been some of the last to come out from Apple though their 
stats have always been highly touted (very low latency, MIDI being 
done by the OMS/Opticode programmer, etc.)
