It feels like I'm wasting a tiny bit or PowerBook real estate! Christopher - until we had an ADSL connection at home and at work, I was using the PC card slot for my ISDN connection to the internet. I also have a pc-card (from TDK, a GC6100 GSM modem) that I use in the slot for connection to my (old and still barely working) Nokia 6150 phone. This is my mobile/on-the-road internet connection. This TDK card sits permanently in the slot now. Yesterday, whilst in London for the day, I was able to connect to the internet, using this card and my phone, to upload the email that I had written on the flight there from Geneva. This kind of connection works first time every time (when cell strength is good). regards, Trevor
