[Ti] Low Battery Warning Missing

Hello

I am planning to buy the CANON i70 Portable Printer to use for
photos and other color printing while traveling with my 17" PB
or perhaps sometimes my 15" PB.

I believe the printer has InfraRed as well as USB.

What do I need to do to be able to communicate via InfraRed
from the 17" PB to the printer? (Aside from long ago use of
a Palm with infrared to an early powerbook, I don't know much
about using it).
