Not sure why you say the Orinoco cards aren't supported - I see Orinoco Gold and Silver listed under Agere right up at the top of the supported cards list at http://www.ioxperts.com/devices_80211b.html I'm writing this via a Orinoco Gold card with the 1.0b19 version of the ioxperts driver in test mode. My Orinoco was made before the Agere spinoff from Lucent, but I doubt the cards are any different now.
